EXTENDED CHARITY

"Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently. (1 Peter 1:22)

This is an hour when God is calling His people to lay hold of anionian life, and seek for His fulness.  There are many aspects of our life being brought into focus under the spotlight of His truth, while the Spirit is soon to be made manifest.  Now we are impressed with the following thought:  God is going to inhabit a temple, not a church.  The church, ekklesia, meaning that which is called out, is only a step in the process of becoming the temple of the Lord.  The temple refers to those who have been gathered together, fitted together in one-- in Christ.

Some fold only have the vision of "coming out" and so they are all the time leaving this and that, but then they only mill around in confusion because they don't go on into God, into the realm of spirit where God is able to place them in His living temple.  But even now God is bringing a company into the unity of the Spirit and into the bond of perfectness, i.e. completeness--whereby they are being knit together in love into one that they might be "HIS TEMPLE", His gathered together ones, the first step towards the fulfillment of God's mighty purpose of the ages when "in the dispensation off the fulness of times He might GATHER TOGETHER IN ONE all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him." (Ephesians 1:1).
