WHISPERS
OF EXPRESSING HIS LIFE
By Ray Prinzing
"This people have
I formed for Myself; they shall shew forth My praise."
[Isaiah 43:21].
"But ye are a
chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar
people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you
out of darkness into His marvellous light."
[1
Peter 2:9].
"It pleased God,
who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace, to
reveal His Son in me."
[Galatians 1:15-16].
Preface
The hymn of consecration, by
T. O. Chisholm, has long been the prayer of the believer who has yearned
to come into a vital union with Christ.
"Oh, to
be like Thee! blessed Redeemer,
This is my constant longing and prayer,
Gladly I'll forfeit all of earth's treasures,
Jesus, Thy perfect likeness to wear
Oh, to be like Thee! Oh, to be like thee!
Blessed Redeemer, pure as Thou art!
Com in Thy sweetness, come in Thy fulness;
Stamp Thine own image deep on my heart."
The worlds of God is clear,
He is processing a people for this very purpose, that they might bear
His image, partake of His divine nature, express His character, and be a
living witness of His redemption. It is a relationship, a fulfillment of
the prayer of Him who prayed: "I in them, and Thou in Me, that they
may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast
sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me." [John
17-23]. Apart from the personal blessing enjoyed by the believer,
there is a two-fold purpose to be fulfilled. To honor and glorify our
Lord, and then, "That the world may know..." For it is to be a
living manifestation before the world, a revelation of His life, His
love, His joy, His peace, etc. expressed through a people who are truly
one in Him, made perfect in Him. We dedicate this book to all
those who hold the vision of this union with Him, and who, by His grace
shall follow on until it becomes a reality within them.
NOT TO BE SOLD - this
book is given free, as a ministry of love. That which is contained
therein cannot be valued in terms of material goods. If there be
any thoughts expressed that seem to be the result of only natural
thinking, we trust that a little breath of kindness will blow the chaff
away, that the kernel of truth might remain.
